Warranty and Return Policy

This policy outlines the terms of warranty coverage and the conditions under which refunds and returns are available for products and services provided by BYTES USA, a sole proprietorship.
Exclusions
There is no warranty or return policy for the following items:
Digital Products
Peripherals
Add-ons
PC Build Limited Warranties
3-Day Defective Exchange: If your custom build is defective upon delivery, you have 3 days from the delivery date to request an exchange.
6-Month Hardware Warranty/RMA Service: This limited warranty covers defects in hardware and labor for 6 months. BYTES USA will handle the RMA process with the manufacturer for non-functioning components and cover the labor for replacement.
Important: This warranty applies only to hardware provided by BYTES USA. It does not cover issues arising from customer-performed modifications or software installations.
Additional Warranty Protections for Custom Builds
Misuse and Abuse Clause
BYTES USA is not responsible for any damage caused by:
Installation of unsupported software or drivers.
Connecting to incompatible peripherals.
Using the system in extreme environments beyond recommended operating ranges.
Unauthorized Repairs and Tampering Clause
The warranty will be voided if:
Repairs or modifications are performed by unauthorized third parties.
The system is disassembled or components are removed without authorization.
Serial numbers or warranty stickers are tampered with or removed.
Overheating or Power Surge Damage
We are not responsible for damage caused by:
Inadequate ventilation or failure to maintain cooling systems.
Overclocking or changes to BIOS settings.
Power surges or outages without proper surge protection.
Physical Damage
Physical damage due to mishandling, accidents, spills, or drops is not covered under warranty.
Data and Backup Responsibility
BYTES USA is not responsible for data loss or recovery. Customers are expected to maintain regular backups of their data before requesting any service or repairs.
Software Compatibility Issues
BYTES USA is not liable for problems caused by third-party software incompatibility or updates that impact system performance.
Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, customers agree to:
Use the system according to provided guidelines and perform regular maintenance.
Provide a safe and stable environment, ensuring proper ventilation and surge protection.
Report issues promptly within the warranty period.
Liability Disclaimer
BYTES USA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, productivity, or profits resulting from misuse or improper handling of the system.
Warranty Conditions
This warranty is valid only for products purchased and used within the United States.
It covers normal use of the product and excludes damage from:
Misuse, abuse, or neglect
Improper shipping or installation
Natural disasters, including floods, fires, or lightning
Modifications by anyone other than BYTES USA
Refund Policy
Non-Functioning Products: Refunds are granted only if the product arrives defective.
Performance Expectations: Customers are responsible for understanding the product’s performance capabilities. BYTES USA is not liable if the product does not meet personal expectations.
Incorrect or Accidental Orders: Refunds for incorrect or accidental purchases will be issued minus any transaction fees incurred during payment processing.
